IT Infrastructure Technical Lead

As a member of and Lead of our global IT Support team you will plan, coordinate and participate in activities and projects to maintain in-house infrastructure across the company. Leading a team of IT support engineers, you will be responsible for the life cycle of all issues with the primary objective to prevent incidents from happening, eliminate recurring ones, minimize the impact of those that cannot be prevented and process improvement.

Job Description

• Provide day to day oversight of the infrastructure operations
• Prioritization of end users’ requests and acting as a further escalation point to resolve complex issues
• Maintain Assets inventory, ticketing system and knowledge base to ensure accuracy
• Preparing infrastructure and Help Desk statistics and reportingProactive development of process and environment improvement plans
• Collaborate with the System Administrator on various projects
• Report to the Head of IT and act as Deputy during absences
• Assisting other Help Desk employees in providing 1st line support during peaks in workload

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience such as developing, implementing and supporting infrastructure and Help Desk operations in a corporate/professional services environment, ITIL services knowledge
• VMWare, SAN Storage, Cloud providers, Firewalls, Networks, Microsoft Software’s strong know how on those technologies and Certifications would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently, be proactive and organized with a customer-oriented approac
• Excellent communication skills with an advanced language level in written and spoken English
