About the project
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team and help develop the backend of sales solutions such as the company app, website, our ticket machines at the stations and the backend systems that support the sales applications. We work based on SAFe® - a framework that helps us to prioritize the tasks that provide the highest business value. You and your colleagues in the team have great freedom to work independently to find the right technical solutions based on the needs of the business.

• Location: Warsaw
• Work model: Hybrid in Warsaw or 100% remote
• Business trips: Yes, around 4-5 times a year for a few days.
• Workload: full time
• Project length: 12 months (+possible extensions)
• Remuneration: 160 - 200 PLN/h +VAT depending on experience
• Assignment type: B2B
• Start: ASAP
Your responsibilities
Concentrate on the development and modernization of our backend system, the Sales Core
Develop IT solutions using Java EE, MicroProfile, WildFly, Quarkus REST services, OpenAPI, DevOps Jenkins, Artifactory, Octopus, Humio, WhiteSource, Sonarqube, Git, Jira, IntelliJ, Eclipse SQL, Oracle
Participate in daily standup meetings, Sprint Planning, Refinement, and Retrospective meetings every 2 weeks, and Demo every 14 days.
Communicate with other developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Shared Services in IT
Our requirements
5+ years of experience with the development of larger backend solutions
Experience with some of the following technologies: Java - Java EE - MicroProfile - WildFly - Quarkus REST services - OpenAPI - DevOps Jenkins – Artifactory – Octopus – Humio – Whitesource – Sonarqube Git - Jira - IntelliJ - Eclipse SQL - Oracle
Good understanding of architecture and ability to create an overview
Accustomed to communicating knowledge about solutions in writing and speaking
Fluent in Danish and English in writing and speaking
Understanding of databases and data modeling
Experience with agile, perhaps in a SAFe® setup
