Junior Analyst - Benchmarking

Who you will work with:

You will work with Pharma Operations Benchmarking team (POBOS) in Wroclaw, co-located with our Polish Knowledge Center colleagues. ​
POBOS offers a broad variety of pharma benchmarking services that cover drug product manufacturing, quality processes, API production, supply chain, and other areas of operations. We work with majority of leading pharmaceutical players and their manufacturing facilities around the world, capturing more than 50 percent of the global installed capacity for many technologies. Experience and validation of benchmarking insights through follow-up on-site diagnostics confirm that POBOS findings are very realistic and that companies can capture the opportunity through lean and digital transformation efforts.

What you will do: 

You will support our clients on specific analytical or methodological questions about the benchmarking and you will provide them with recommendations to realize improvement opportunities, often at a client site (requiring travel up to 10%).

You will have the opportunity to build knowledge in the pharma industry and help maintain information sources and databases in order to capture best practices. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to build new tools and approaches, solving for the most pressing industry questions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a leading university; preferred focus on Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Computer Science
  • Ability to work under pressure; experience with managing multiple and simultaneous demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work in ambiguous conditions while continuing to work towards defined deliverable
  • Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to extract and convey insights from analysis in a clear and impactful manner of communication e.g. telling stories with data
  • Professional attitude and service orientation, with the ability to work with international teams
  • Knowledge/experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry would be an asset
