    Manufacturing Engineer (ME) Team Lead

    Main duties:

    • Manufacturing roadmap: Deliver manufacturing process roadmap. Consult factory design and layout development.
    • Industrialization: Support manufacturing process industrialization activity including equipment specification and selection in close cooperation with suppliers.
    • Process metrics and control: Establish manufacturing process-related performance indicators (capacity and capability metrics). Capture and analyse relevant data to ensure that processes are under control and key metrics are in line with customer requirements.
    • Process flow: Lead ME Team activities to take new products from design to manufacture, meeting requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate and lead-time during the process.
    • Technical packages: Create and manage all of the technical documentation that is necessary to clearly define the manufacturing process and control it effectively either individually or through the ME Team.
    • Continuous improvement: Champion the use of continuous improvement methodologies in relation to manufacturing process as well as to the ways of working.
    • Team management: Lead and support plant Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians team.

    Rolls-Royce is looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer Team Lead to join project team dedicated to establishment of advanced manufacturing green field facility. Successful candidate will take ownership for the manufacturing roadmap on the plant level making sure that the process industrialization phase is completed efficiently together with a proper technical knowledge transfer. Prime candidate will lead plant Manufacturing Engineers team.

    Miejsce pracy: Podkarpackie

    Key requirements:

    • Degree in engineering (preferably in Manufacturing Engineering).
    • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering (minimum 5 years; mechanical engineering industries preferred).
    • Knowledge of production methods: machining and/or assembly.
    • Previous experience in managing teams in Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
    • Experience of new product introduction / process industrialization / manufacturing engineering knowledge transfer.
    • Sound understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, SixSigma).
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
    • Excellent written and spoken English.
