Your responsibilities
Working together with Basf ECMS teams to protect our people, plants, communities and reputation from the hazards of our processes and products.
Providing Process Safety expertise to safely operate our plants by identifying and controlling the hazards of the materials we handle, the chemical processes we run, and the physical equipment we use.
By leading design reviews for new, existing, and changing processes, ensure the safe design and on-going operation of our facilities via Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Management of Change, etc.
Continually improving the technical competency of process safety with Basf ECMS colleagues involved with the design and operation of our sites. This includes providing expert consultation on process safety issues and developing and delivering specific process safety training content, courses, and seminars across the Basf ECMS community.
Interpreting governmental regulations, industry ‘best practices’ and emerging trends and then developing and communicating recommended actions and/or compliance strategies for BASF ECMS.
Our requirements
Having a degree in Engineering or Science.
Established experience in manufacturing or direct manufacturing support roles with an understanding of chemical processing and technologies.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Process Safety programs.
English and Polish (fluent in spoken and written).
