Your responsibilities
Build a purchasing strategy with the local management team and implement it across the country
Responsible for the supplier management process, selection, rating, supplier development and performance evaluation
Develop strong commercial relationships with suppliers
Ensure the timely negotiation of all agreements
Conduct in-depth cost and spend analysis to develop target savings & cost reduction initiatives
Lead procurement related projects as required by the Group Procurement & local management team
Identify business supply risks and ensure appropriate action is taken to manage risk
Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines
Provide strong support to the business, local senior management team & Group Procurement
Role model in leading in a way that creates an environment of high integrity, trust and commitment within the team
Our requirements
Min. 5 years of procurement/supply chain management experience in manufacturing /corporate company
Master's degree in Engineering/Technical/Science or Business
Very good English language skills
Strong leadership skills and style
Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Results focused and well-organized personality
Project management skills and change management mindset with experience of driving change within a demanding timeframe
Strategic mindset and ability to turn complex business problems into value creation
Knowledge of SAP and integrated management systems (ISO) will be an added advantage
