Join us as a Product Development Analyst II
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Product Development Analyst II to join our Alternative Investment Funds Team. In this role you will be expected to write business requirements, liaise with developers and vendors during analysis and design, create and execute UAT plans and scripts, document procedures and policies (“Best Practices”), provide support, and create and execute implementation plans (training, rollout, transition). The individual works both independently and as part of bank-wide project teams to actively analyze department needs and increase operational efficiency.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Write and review business requirements.
Facilitate developer or vendor analysis and creation of design documents and functional specifications.
Create and execute User Acceptance Testing plans and scripts.
Document procedures, policies, and Best Practices.
Create and execute implementation plans.
When required, create or manage project plans.
Seek out and participate in team and interdepartmental projects.
Act as subject matter expert in demonstrating new products and assisting Product Managers, Product Leaders, and Client Service Relationship Managers with client questions or presentations.
Proactively oversee operations service levels by arranging pulse checks, modifying procedures and discussing best practices.
University (bachelor / license) degree and/or equivalent work experience
3 years prior business analyst or QA analyst experience preferred
Minimum 8 years related experience in the financial services industry preferred
Prior involvement or experience working on financial services systems projects.
Understanding of custody, fund accounting, and fund administration operations.
Communication skills, written and verbal.
Aptitude for understanding global business considerations when implementing new business systems.
Hands-on experience with software spreadsheets, report writer packages, database applications, and programming.
Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment.
Experience writing and reviewing business requirements.
Experience preparing and executing test scripts preferred.
Experience with implementation plan preparation and execution
Open to overseas travel.
