Your responsibilities
Ensuring compliance of a defined portfolio of Basf ECMS materials with global product safety regulations including but not limited to hazard classification or nanomaterials regulations.
Creating and maintaining product safety master data and safety data sheets for a defined portfolio of materials globally.
Tracking global relevant Product Safety regulations.
Supporting and advising business units with regards to global product safety.
Performing GHS classifications, creating and maintaining SDSs and GHS label language.
Managing global master data and product safety tasks and projects.
Strategically guiding the Basf ECMS business regarding Product Safety relevant issues.
Representing Basf ECMS in relevant product safety and regulatory communities.
Our requirements
Having a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Natural Sciences, preferably in Chemistry.
Demonstrated 6 - 10 years in the EHS field, with specific expertise in the GHS and hazard classifications as well as SAP Master Data Systems.
Possessing solid knowledge of global chemicals management regulations and Product Safety regulations in specific regions, as applicable.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
Ability to lead a global team.
Being able to collaborate for achievement, communicate effectively and embrace diversity.
