Your responsibilities
Provide in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries
Troubleshoot problems with malfunctioning software applications and recommends corrective action
Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions
Document customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
Recreate and resolve client issues in test environment, identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes
Our requirements
BA or MA degree in: Computer Science, Finance, Math, Business, Management,
Economics or similar
Fluency in English – speaking and writing
3+ years of relevant experience in application support
Ability to move around Linux/Unix filesystems
Working knowledge of database and SQL
Self-starter who is able to work individually with minimum guidance in challenging environments
Excellence in managing customer relationships
Knowledge of investment banking and securities lending will be a plus
Excellent written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong desire to learn the products, processes, and related industries
Team player and willing to progress in a rapidly changing environment
Highly motivated and keen to succeed
Optional
Python scripting language, Ansible, ELK, storage (iscsi) concepts
Experience in middleware (file or message transfer protocols)

About the team
As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll be responsible of maintaining/upgrading/securing infrastructure and IT systems related to the business you will belong to, providing SWIFT messaging services (Saas model).
