Proximetry Poland Sp. z o. o. is the Polish research and development division of relayr.  We are responsible for developing software for the IoT enterprise platform with all software designed, implemented, and tested in Katowice. We also provide support for the installation and maintenance of our software for clients across the globe.

As a QA Development Team Lead you will lead a team of 5-6 Python Software Developers, with potential to grow, and be responsible for designing and delivering solutions that will improve test automation. In your daily work, you’ll use your Python programming skills to help develop tools, emulators, test frameworks and libraries used in test automation. You will work in close cooperation with End-to-End QA Teams to specify requirements and gather feedback.

We are looking for someone with a technical background and proven management experience. Your objectives will be to support the team in terms of creating the development direction, facilitate collaboration with other teams and manage team priorities. Coordination and very good communication skills in that position are key to enable and amplify the work of our QA Development team. The lead position will be located in Katowice and travel is expected to be infrequent.

  • Leading internal development activities
  • Organizing and supervising work of a team of Python Software Developers
  • Cooperating with the QA team
  • Research and development of new automation methods and tools


  • 2+ years of experience in leading a team (formal or informal)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development 
  • Advanced knowledge of Python (3.7+)
  • Experience in designing architecture of small and medium-size systems
  • Experience in working with version control systems (Git)
  • Working knowledge of Docker
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Good command of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in using Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with a web framework (e.g. Flask/Sanic/Nameko)
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Selenium, Locust, pytest
  • A degree in Computer Science or similar fields
