Job Description:

The role is part of a wider R&A (Reporting and Analysis) Business Connect Organisation in Finance Operations in Krakow.This would be a mix of 50% content job and 50% supervising a team of 5-9 Business Analysts supporting Upstream Assets. Key responsibilities would be running own analytical (complex) content as well as successful Management Information delivery through the team. Focus areas would be delivering business impact thorugh standard, automated and insightful MI. The role requires excellent stakeholder, change management and strong team leadership with focus on team capability building.  On top of daily job, Business Interface Manager takes part/leads cross-teams and cross-process initiatives to drive improvement and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

TEAM

  • support, coach and motivate. 
  • review and assess performance of team members.

  • successfully deliver own complex content 
  • ensure process performance and continuity
  • ensure design and operational effectiveness of financial controls
  • contribute to process standardization and simplification
  • liaise with internal and external auditors
  • ensure compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures

EXTERNAL FOCUS

  • champion and lead change
  • take accountability and lead a team with global exposure within and on behalf of  FO R&A
  • build and develop Krakow networks within R&A and FO as well as Global Finance
  • explore and pursue opportunities with strong external perspective 
  • contribute extensively to strong R&A Krakow global visibility and reputation

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years of experience in various financial/accounting positions 
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience 
  • Economic, accounting or finance university degree/ qualifications
  • Solid experience in MI/Controlling preferably in a production company
  • Oil and gas accounting experience would be an asset
  • Sound process understanding in one of the following processes: R&A (RtR), Revenue, Expenditure
  • Excellent communication skills & customer focus
  • Very strong leadership, change and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure an in a rapidly changing environment
