    R&D Frontend Developer (UI/UX)

    About the job

    We are searching for an experienced frontend developer (regular or senior level) with a strong background in User Interface and User Experience design to join our team in Research & Development department at Fujitsu Łódź. You will work with development teams (on-site and remote) to build and improve Fast Portal - web application for Fujitsu’s customers’ employees which is a single hub for all their business support needs.
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    The User Interface developer works as a key part of the development team, working both independently to improve the product and as part new features development. UI development tasks will be generated by both new features, as part of continuous development, and from stakeholder engagement work. The UI developer is responsible for the consistency of the service UI/UX and continuous technological development.
     
    The developer should be experienced in building and working on UI and UX aspects of a service, and have a vision of how to develop this in the future. The person needs to be able to handle the full development process from requirements gathering to implementation with support from the service designer.
     

    Requirements

    Must-have skills:

    • Minimum 2 years of professional experience using JavaScript-related frameworks, HTML, CSS for UX (responsive design)
    • Experience with web technologies (SaSS, Bootstrap 3)
    • Experience designing and/or implementing complex UIs
    • Experience using a user-centered approach to designing software
    • Very good English skills
    • Passion for creating and a focus on delivering amazing usable interfaces

     

    Beneficial skills:

    • Comfortable with frameworks like AngularJS, jQuery
    • Experience in other areas of the UX stack (interaction design, user interviews, user testing, visual design, etc)
    • Experience using Git with a team
    • Experience in working with Gulp
    • Knowledge of BEM (Block Element Modifier)
    • Knowledge of Bootstrap 4
    • Experience in working with Photoshop (or other image editing software)
