    You will be

    • Working as a part of product teams to deliver high quality IT based business services
    • Managing technical dependencies across multiple teams to schedule code release appropriately
    • Leading the development, execution and review of implementation plans for all non-standard software releases
    • Facilitating implementation plan rehearsals or walk through workshops where necessary
    • Ensuring business requirements and where necessary prioritisation is fully understood
    • Liaising with the development, test, infrastructure, transition and 3rd party management teams in order to understand and resolve dependencies for successful releases
    • Ensuring all relevant service and business teams are awareness of release plans and any service impact
    • Managing the execution of all releases
    • Ensuring product teams are aware of the wider release calendar that may impact their work in both test and production environments
    • Continually reviewing and challenging existing processes in order to focus on value based outcomes
    • Proactively pre-empting and managing risks and issues, providing solutions and escalating as required
    • Being a subject matter expert in chosen field
    • Ensuring key stakeholders and Technology colleagues are aware of release plans and any potential service impact and updated throughout the process regularly
    • Forging strong relationships with colleagues across the business
    • Maintaining a strong customer focus in everything you do
    • Providing support and guidance for all colleagues
    • Having a strong desire to continually improve

    We expect you to have

    • Min. 1 year of experience working in a fast paced agile environment
    • Excellent working knowledge of service transition principles and their application across networks, platforms, applications and databases
    • Good knowledge of development and testing methodologies
    • Knowledge of source control and dependency management systems used in software development
    • Can take a pragmatic view when resolving problems
    • An eye for detail
    • Credible communicator and influencer, adapting style as appropriate
    • Strong customer focus establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
    • Ideally holds a degree in an IT discipline or equivalent
    • Ideally holds an ITIL foundation certificate in Service Management
    • Resilient & can work under pressure
    • Ability to analyse and disseminate information quickly
