    An opportunity for experienced commercial / sales controllers from manufacturing or retail companies to develop carrier in international, stable and well known company. Working in SAP environment and reporting to Group Controlling Manager. Excellent English needed.

    Our Client is an international company we used to work for previously so it's a guarantee for candidates it is a reasonable company. It's operations in Poland are a mix of sales and manufacturing of products we use everyday not even thing about it.

    Description

    • Provide support for all requests & communications to and from Sales Controlling and Corporate Controlling
    • Be a proactive member, influencer and contributor to the Polish entity and also the Sales Controlling team
    • Manage all annual budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring suitable cost & profitability ratios are maintained
    • Oversee cost centres to maintain budget levels
    • Support proper and realistic turnover forecasting
    • Follow up cost control throughout the year, for all P&L lines and the Balance Sheet
    • Monitor working capital to improve KPI's
    • Lead on and deliver both day-to-day analytical requirements and ad hoc investigations
    • Facilitate, manage and ensure monthly reporting in accordance with the Group's requirements
    • Develop, implement and manage key tools and measures to direct business sales strategy
    • Support Market Segment, Market Area Directors & Divisional Sales Managers in all Controlling matters including reporting
    • Work proactively to identify opportunities for improvement and improved efficiency. Recommend areas of focus to improve profitability
    • Provide information to Divisional Managers to support them in determining terms & conditions for Key National Accounts, Independents & Buying Groups
    • Take responsibility for the management of rebate reports and highlight to the Management, areas for consideration that might impact on budget

    Profile

    • An education to degree level or above in Business Administration or similar
    • A Commercial Finance qualification would also be an advantage
    • 3 to 5 years of broad experience in Finance or Accounting as well in Controlling in an international environment
    • Experience ideally gained in a manufacturing, sales & distribution environment, with knowledge of capex, transfer pricing etc.
    • Expertise in general Finance & Accounting
    • Strong capability in profitability evaluation, project controlling, process costing and P&L processes
    • Full systems competence in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc - ideally complemented with a solid knowledge of SAP
    • Excellent communication skills; the ability to influence and liaise at all levels of the business, both locally and with Group functions
    • A track record of hands-on delivery against financial and time targets and deadlines
    • The ability to operate effectively in a international matrix organisation
    • Experience of leading, driving and managing change
