For our Advanced Refractories EMEA, Industrial Processes team, we are looking for a
Sales CoordinatorNumer ref.: AWM/KR/SC

Your primary focus will be to manage all issues concerning the assigned customers autonomously, including order processing, issuing invoices, credit notes and consignment stocks.


Your closest work relationships will be with Sales Engineers, Sales Managers, Customer Service Manager, local and European Product Managers.

You will also often work with Scheduling, Delivery, Quality, Finance and Procurement.


You will report to the Business Director of Industrial Processes, Advanced Refractories in EMEA.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Interface between Sales, Customer Service and Production.
  • Follow-up of the full order process.
  • Prepare and enter some of the offers.
  • Discuss priorities with the Sales Team and convey information to Customer Service and Production.
  • Support customers and maintain contact.
  • Record customer complaints and returns.
  • Support and follow-up of new customers creation process.
  • Keep an overview of the material stock in each country for possible cross utilization.
  • Generate and distribute reports, faxes, e-mails to customers and internal departments.


We will also count on you to support us on special tasks and project work.


This is a new position.

  • We expect you to have a university degree.
  • Previous commercial experience is required.
  • Fluent knowledge of English is necessary.
  • Additionally, knowledge of German/French/Italian will be highly appreciated.
  • This job requires a strong network built and nurtured through direct and frequent interaction. You need to have exceptional communication skills, understanding for different opinions and approach.
  • We expect you to be strongly team oriented and look for opportunities to contribute to common objectives.
  • You should have good computer skills, specifically ERP-systems, ideally of JDE.
  • You should not get discouraged easily and have the drive and ability to find resolution to problems or difficult situations.
