Job description:

TeeJet Technologies Poland is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to expand our business in Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS region. TeeJet Technologies is a worldwide market leader in the development, manufacturing and sales of electronics, GPS Guidance and components used with agricultural crop protection and fertilizer application equipment.

SALES ENGINEER POSITION (INŻYNIER SPRZEDAŻY)

Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the customer, field sales force, precision farming support offices, manufacturing, and engineering in terms of new products and projects. Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for TeeJet products.

The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify and coordinate all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sale and after the sale is complete.

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate, you must be self-motivated with a proven track record and knowledge of TeeJet or similar products. You are comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. You possess strong presentation skills and are able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and when submitting reports. All communication should be conducted in English – therefore proficiency in oral and written English is a something you master on a high level.

Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

You are prepared for business travel of up to 60 days per year.  In the initial year, travel may require up to 80 days.

Primary tasks

    • Assisting in making existing products market ready:
      • Together with engineering analyze and define limitations of the systems and adapt to a generic solution accepted by a large customer base.
    • Provide information needed for the development of custom-made machinery:
      • Confers with engineering department to ascertain feasibility of designing special equipment. Make transition from development support to after sales support.
    • Secure the transition from development phase to production phase:
      • Communicates with customer and with Regional Sales Managers to inform of production progress and costs.
    • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs, and to determine system requirements.
    • Collaborate with precision farming support offices and sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
    • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
    • Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments.
    • Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
  • Support in Development phase
    • Diagnose problems with installed equipment in collaboration with support depending on the stage of the project.
    • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment until moved to after sales support.
  • After sales support
      • Assist in after sales support in countries which are not handled by the precision farming support offices.
    • Documentation and presentations
      • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers, precision farming support and prospective customers.
      • Provide input to create technical documentation on new products. 
    • Training
      • Organize internal /external training (OEM and our Precision Farming Support organization).
      • Coordinate training with after sales support department and provide materials.
      • Arrange for trial installations and pre-approval of equipment
      • Attend company training seminars to become familiar with product lines. 
      • Contribute to assist to Regional Sales Managers
          • Assist Regional Sales Managers to develop sales plans for product introduction in new markets.
          • Identify resale opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans
          • Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
          • Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages
