Your responsibilities

  • Adaptation of existing technical solutions to customer needs and requirements.

  • Provide internal and external (customer oriented) technical expertise and support throughout the complete product life cycle.

  • Develop and release drawings and technical documentation related to RFQ process, new project launch or cost saving initiatives, etc.

  • Support of the RFQ process (product design development, DV plan development and costing).

  • Ownership of design throughout the product life cycle: development and validation phases of new projects, DFMEA development, design changes after SOP, etc.

  • Propose and develop new ideas for product value enhancement.

  • Interface with technical centers, customer engineering service centers, customers and suppliers for engineering changes.

  • Defining tasks, calculations and engineering simulations as well as validation tests for CAD / CAE / Testing / Workshop departments

  • Participation in activities aimed at supporting the sales and development of the company (i.e. at trade shows or conventions).

  • Support in investigation and resolving of customer warranty claims within the specified rules and procedures.

  • Maintain strong market and applications understanding - prospects for new business opportunities.

  • Supporting the R&D department in understanding customer needs and expectations to develop new products (analysis and distribution of customer feedback).

  • Close cooperation with the purchasing, production, sales and quality departments in terms of technical customer requirements and the products offered (including prototypes)

Our requirements

  • Min. bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferred Mechanical Engineering) with minimum of three years of engineering experience with a proven track record in product engineering and/or technical product support.

  • Critical and analytical thinking skills

  • Ability to effectively develop, cultivate and sustain customer relationships on various levels with strong orientation to gaining in-depth knowledge of the customer with a commitment to customer service at all times.

  • Able to interact with customers' technical and sales organizations to drive company developmental activities, support value-added selling and drive new product development efforts.

  • Capable of conducting hands-on efforts at the operational level, including product development, field testing, and quality.

  • Complete proficiency in English and Polish is a must

  • Additional advantage: knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault

  • Additional advantage: familiarity with the exhaust market, competitors, and related products and knowledge of construction of exhaust systems of commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, agricultural and construction machinery, etc.)

  • Additional advantage: experience in the automotive industry and working according to the APQP methodology
