    Description:

    The Risk division is a highly visible, dynamic area of the firm where you can be an integral part of decisions making that supports the bank’s business. Our responsibilities range from enterprise risk management to risk and finance reporting and regional risk teams covering the risk management for our entities.     The pace of change within financial services is at an unprecedented level across the industry and from all jurisdictions. Much of this regulatory change impacts and will be sponsored and led by the Risk Division. Within Credit Suisse, the Chief Risk Officer and his management team recently conducted a review to assess the Change capabilities required within Risk to deliver the challenging and extensive book of work over the next 3-5 years. Following this review, a number of key new programme and project roles have been identified within the CRO Change organization.

    Scope of duties:

    • You will produce detailed business requirements for end to end Risk Based PnL deliveries covering the production of risk sensitivities, PnL Attribution and Risked Based PL working with various business functions and divisions globally.
    • You will perform data extractions, manipulations and trade level analysis of RBPL PnL unexplained data using both excel and in house analysis tools.
    • You will be responsible for presenting data to global partners in different formats to facilitate decision-making.
    • You will analyse test results, manage defect resolution and complete impact assessments to agree viable solutions to meet business requirements.
    • You will review FTB business processes and resolve any gaps in functionality required to adopt RBPL.

    Qualifications:

    Key requirements for the role are:

    • You have at least 4 years experience in business analysis at investment banking sector or similar.
    • You are advanced MS Excel user with strong analytical skills.
    • You are a fluent English speaker.
    • You are familiar with P&L concept and derivative products.
    • You have very good written and verbal interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior partners.
    • You have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple functions and levels.
    • You are a self-starter with a positive personality, able to work independently.

    The following will be advantageous:

    • You have a knowledge of front to back processes and architecture, risk & P&L generation and consumption including the differences between front office view vs the books and records.
    • You have deep understanding of the key attribution and risk methodologies and concepts (sequential vs bump and reset, full reveal vs sensitivities method, first order sensitivities).
