    System Architect
    A System Architect works closely with the Requirements Management team to identify high-level functional capabilities and interfaces of Nexteer Automotive electric power steering. The framework created by this individual flows down to lower-level requirements and designs within the product development team. Tasks will include:
    • Define system architecture for Nexteer Automotive production systems.
    • Define subsystems, interfaces and interactions of system physical and functional elements.
    • Work with hardware and software developers to create optimal system solution.
    • Develop verification criteria for system elements.
    • Support requirements allocation and analysis.
    • Interface with customers and developers to determine the changing requirements.
    • Work with design and implementation engineers to resolve any issues that may change the high level architecture.
    • Generate system architecture views that give the developers and implementers an understanding of the system as it changes.
    • Maintain System Architecture Process documents.
    • Actively participate in peer reviews.

    Required Skills

    • 1+ years of experience working with complex mechatronic systems.
    • Project and team leadership skills.
    • Excellent organization and documentation abilities.

    Preferred Skills

    • Strong computer skills, especially in DOORS and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong systems engineering, safety, or DFMEA background.
    • Understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262 system architecture responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of Nexteer Automotive EPS or similar system.
    • BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.

    • Willingness to relocate.
    • Work in an international environment in the company with a stable position in the market.
