Manages the routine VAT, corporate income tax and local tax (including other non-tax mandatory financial reporting) function (e.g.preparation of returns and tax filing process, tax accounting & reporting).
Assurance and enforcement compliance to IFRS/FEM, general Tax Compliance, Indirect Tax and CIT controls and accounting policies.
Analyse, implements and evaluates design effectiveness of tax compliance controls.
Monitoring the VAT, corporate income tax and local tax (including other non-tax mandatory financial reporting) function (e.g. preparation of returns and tax filing process, tax accounting & reporting).
Coordinate tax compliance related processes with BASF Corporate Tax and provides support in preparing country specific local TP supplements.
Proposes and implements approved process improvements.
Perform other tasks delegated by the superiors to achieve the aforementioned targets.
Educational background: Bachelor degree or above with major in Finance, Tax Law/Economics.
At least 3 years of professional experience of accounting and tax.
Fluency in business English (also Polish).
Experience with VAT and corporate income tax, and local taxes compliance and tax accounting & reporting.
Experience in management, compliance processes, transfer pricing and tax control.
Good understanding of Finance processes linked to tax regulations.
Communicative skills at all levels in the organization and strategic and analytical thinking skills.
Experienced with MS Office Excel, SAP – preferable S4/Hana, IFRS and preferable general accounting knowledge (Local GAAP).
