Data sources come in a variety of shapes, protocols and technologies; as such you need to be comfortable analyzing each source, identifying the relevant data and then finding ways to extract it efficiently. Where generalization does exist, you should be able to identify it and work with the architects and other engineers in the creation of a data extraction framework.

As a senior engineer within the team you will work closely with the lead developer, and be comfortable collaborating on ideas, approaches and potential solutions. You will also welcome the chance to assist and mentor more junior developers within the team, sharing your knowledge and insights.
