For one of our Clients, an US-based large company, opening its Competence Center in Gdansk Randstad Technologies are looking for a Telecom Solutions Manager to join the team responsible for Collaboration infrastructure and implementation in  Europe. This role will work closely with the Global Telecom team, but will have a primary European responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in working with our business partners to develop solutions and systems in support of their projects and business requirements for Europe.
  • Design and development of the European telecommunication infrastructure to insure stability for critical applications including disaster recovery and system recovery plans in close collaboration with the Global Telecom team.
  • Provide support to associates within Telecommunications as well as other groups for complex production systems and services.
  • Definition, discovery, testing and assessment of new products and services and provide recommendations to IT management and business partners.
  • Participate in the Global Telecom team in giving strategic advice and determining the long range planning for telecommunication infrastructure and services.
  • Work with the Global Telecom team in assisting with upgrades and implementations of the following areas: Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Contact Center, Cisco Collaboration tools

Requirements:

Knowledge, skills & experience: Basic

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and leadership skills to work with all levels of management within the organization and external customer, suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong management and organizational skills as to independently handle conflicting priorities to meet organizational service levels and business requirements
  • Experience working within large and complex technical environments
  • Exceptional customer support skills
  • Management and troubleshooting of Unified Communications Infrastructure
  • Minimum 3 - 4 years working experience in a Cisco environment: with Cisco Call Manager (Version 9 or above), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco voice gateways and LAN /WAN environments.
  • Candidate should have exposure in handling and communicating with global clients

Knowledge, skills & experience: Preferred

  • Experience with Cisco Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) a plus
  • Experience with the following technologies: Cisco Video Infrastructure including TMS and Conductor, Cisco Expressway Gateways, Cisco Networking Technologies, Cisco Unified Communications
  • Experience with voice and data services, including hardware and software systems; and diagnostic and trouble shooting skills in VoIP, telephony, voice network, WAN, LAN, QOS, MPLS, and SIP
