We are now looking for a Test Manager experienced in large-scale agile projects to join the Cards Simplification Programin Nordea. The programme is delivering a new, common platform for core Cards Management System (CMS) and transaction handling system (clearing and switch). The platform is outsourced and the work we need to do inhouse is the integrations into other Nordea systems like Accounts, Master Data, etc. We are not only installing a new common IT system but also harmonizing bank’s card product offering and cards related processes.

    As Test Manager in CSP, you’ll work in a diverse, highly international environment with ambitious people, working agile, determined to reach our common goal; delivering a platform of unlimited opportunities for tailoring – to meet the unique needs of our customers.  

    You will act as a servant leader to shape efficient QA processes in collaboration with the QA engineers across different agile teams. You will maintain a culture of purpose-driven work and empowered employees. Your focus will be enhancing value creation flow from road map to customers and establishing robust testing frameworks best suitable for the teams. In addition, you will be involved in hiring top talent for our growing team.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Elaborating QA Strategy and Plan for the Delivery Stream and driving their implementation
    • Leading all QA efforts across Delivery Stream from requirements to Go-Live
    • Providing support and advice for QA profession, mentoring and coaching to help engineers develop professionally
    • Ensuring that required test data and environments are available for the whole delivery stream
    • Supporting agile teams with proper tools required for test execution
    • Providing online visibility to quality of deliverables and proactively driving to close possible gaps
    • Working actively with business to secure superb customer experience
    • Driving continuous improvements

    Your background:

    • 5+ years of experience in the field of QA engineering
    • 3+ years of managerial experience from large scale teams (>50 people, mix of onshore/offshore people)
    • Experience with implementing QA / Test Management in large scale programs (>10 Million Euros)
    • In-depth understanding of integrating QA efforts as part of CI/CD processes
    • Ability to organize test automation frameworks
    • Expert knowledge of Scrum and experience with QA in Agile (Agile Testing)
    • Familiarity with BDD/TDD concepts and ability to practically implement them
    • Communicable, able to facilitate changes, competent in setting priorities and making people focus on them 
    • Experience with banking domain and understanding of banking architecture (batch runs, multiple integration technologies, SOA patterns, etc.) is considered as plus
