Treasury Administrator

Job Summary:

Placed within the corporate treasury team, the Treasury Accountant is responsible for the maintenance of bank account and system documentation to assist the on-going management of EMEA and APAC bank accounts. This includes preparing and executing required documents, liaising with banks and intercompany partners.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Opening / closing client bank accounts, arranging proper setting for bank accounts on e-banking platforms
  • Take ownership of bank documentation (includes opening and closing of bank accounts)
  • Banking platform administration in line with the agreed control framework
  • First point of contact for banks’ branches and Legal Team in case of any urgent issues
  • Liaising with banks, board of members and intercompany partners to open new bank account
  • Updating signatories in Banks.
  • Approving users setup and modification in banking platforms - user entitlements, signatory limits
  • Quarterly revisions of banking system accesses
  • Performing corporate bank accounts reconciliations in line with month-end schedule
  • Daily postings of bank transactions on corporate bank accounts i.e. tax payments, payroll payments, bank charges, other transfers, internal loans, etc.
  • Researches and documents cash posting transaction issues and discrepancies
  • Preparing corporate bank accounts’ balances report on daily basis
  • Support Treasury operations

Requirements:

  • Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
  • A general knowledge of accounting or banking
  • Proactive and hands on attitude
  • Candidate must be a team player who can work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills necessary
