    UX/UI Designer

    Workplace: Gdańsk

    Job Description

    We are looking for a dynamic and experienced UX/UI Designer who will play a central role in defining the design directions of our product and participate in every aspect of the product design lifecycle. The right candidate will have a significant impact on creation of intuitive, user-friendly software solutions and will be excited about the opportunity to build the UX/UI strategy for our SaaS product, focusing on customer needs and best practices in the field. The UX/UI Designer will partner closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. The office will be in Gdańsk, but some travelling to Tønsberg, Norway is to be expected.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches 
    • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the product functions and looks like
    • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
    • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
    • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
    • Researching and analysing industry UX/UI trends and competitor products and strategies 
    • Keeping up to date with the PIM market and the needs of our customers
    • Participating in key internal meetings including weekly status updates and planning sessions
    • Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately

    Requirements

    • BSc in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Extensive work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role (and the portfolio to prove it)
    • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
    • Ability to execute end-to-end design work throughout the product development process with only high level guidance
    • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities 
    • Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
