    Description

    The Group Chief Technology Office (GCTO) Workforce Strategy team is responsible for increasing the quality of GCTO service delivery through optimization of our workforce and sourcing configuration. Partnering with teams across Credit Suisse, the team creates a sustainable environment promoting growth and excellence for each of our sites around the world.

    We are looking for a Data Analyst to:

    • Turn information into insights ultimately driving business decisions for our workforce strategy implementation
    • Support capacity planning exercises
    • Support the institutionalization and enhancement of the analytical platform
    • Monitor performance and usage of reporting solutions, driving efficiency and scalability wherever possible
    • Closely monitor risks and issues; initiate timely actions / escalations to ensure all risks are mitigated
    • Evolve our existing reporting platform though use of Tableau dashboards

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preference of analytical degree such as finance, economic, mathematics, statistics, applied sciences, or other technical related field
    • At least 2-3 years of experience working with databases, spreadsheets, queries, data visualization tools/techniques to translate data into impactful information
    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and SQL
    • A passion for data and data analysis in order to drive decisions at scale
    • Detail-oriented and very analytical
    • Incredibly customer-focused
    • Ability to work independently and be self-directed while thriving within a collaborative team environment
    • An adaptable individual who understands long term versus short term goals

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
    • Constantly asking "why" in a way that leads us to better, faster, and smarter solutions
    • Ability to translate complex numbers into easy-to-understand and actionable insights
    • Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders
    • Proficient data visualization experience through tools such as Tableau or Spotfire
